Our Top 5 Fort Collins Beers of Spring
You might have noticed that we’re big fans of both local and beer. And when you combine the two, things just get magical.
Since we do our fair share of supporting NoCo’s awesome local beer scene, we thought we’d put our brewery-hopping to good use and document some of our favorite craft beers of the season. So, here they are: Bonfire’s top five beers of spring, in no particular order.
Zwei Pils (Bavarian-style Pilsner)
Why to drink it: The Zwei is an excellent, refreshing spring beer that goes down oh so easy.
Where to drink it: Zwei Brewing
Prost Dunkel (Munich Dunkel)
Why to drink it: The Prost is deep, rich, and tasty. Good for those windy, sh*tty spring days when you’re dreaming of going outside.
Where to drink it: otto PINT (tell them Bonfire sent you... we're buddies!)
Fat Tire Amber Ale
Why to drink it: An oldie but a goodie. One of the most refreshing brews after a long bike ride.
Where to drink it: New Belgium Brewery (or apparently while browsing the merch at REI)
Nacht (Troubador)
Why to drink it: This dark, rich brew (front) is a flavorful work of genius. A perfect balance of sturdy and smooth. We may be a bit biased here, though... our design team hand-crafted the logo (see the case study here). :)
Where to drink it: Purpose Brewing & Cellars
DC Oakes Belgian Wit
Why to drink it: With a stellar mix of citrus and spice, this brew is a fantastically fresh choice to usher in the warmer days of spring.
Where to drink it: DC Oakes Brewhouse & Eatery
